Directions from Daytona Beach
(6 miles from Daytona Beach)

  1. From Daytona Beach, drive 5 miles south on US Highway 1 or Florida State Road A1A (the beach road) to Port Orange.
  2. As you enter Port Orange,  A1A crosses the Halifax River where it is known as Dunlawton Avenue or the Port Orange Causeway.
  3. Begin to cross the river and in the middle of the river is a little island. On the south side of the highway is Donald’s Bait & Tackle where you’ll find entrances to the service roads.
  4. If heading west, take the north side service road directly to the park and boat ramp.  If heading east, you cannot cross the highway! Take the south side service road from Donald’s Bait & Tackle for about 500 feet to the east side of the island. The boat ramp is under the bridge.

Plenty of public parking is available.
